    How To Use It Correctly

    • Step 1 — Anchor the band: Loop the band securely over a pull-up bar or anchor point. Ensure it is centred and not twisted.
    • Step 2 — Position your foot or knee: Place one foot or knee into the hanging loop of the band. Do not place both feet in — this reduces control and stability.
    • Step 3 — Grip the bar: Use a shoulder-width overhand grip (pronated) for pull-ups, or an underhand grip (supinated) for chin-ups.
    • Step 4 — Engage before you pull: Depress your shoulder blades (pull them down and back) before initiating the pull. This protects your shoulder joints and activates the correct muscles.
    • Step 5 — Pull with control: Drive your elbows down and back, bringing your chin above the bar. Avoid swinging or using momentum.
    • Step 6 — Lower slowly: Control the descent over 2–3 seconds. The eccentric (lowering) phase builds as much strength as the pull itself.
